Current service status
eCEFA currently accepts access applications only. It does not, from this website alone, open a bank account, hold client money, issue e-money, execute payments, provide custody, allocate tokens or provide investment services.
Regulated providers
Where a future service requires authorisation, it must be delivered by an identified licensed entity or under a legally verified eCEFA authorisation. Provider name, regulator, register number, safeguarding/custody model, territories and complaints route must be visible before a user accepts that service.
Crypto-assets and wallet risk
Crypto-assets can be volatile, irreversible and exposed to protocol, custody, smart-contract, market, sanctions and fraud risk. Wallet access and token allocation remain disabled until legal classification, contract verification, custody responsibility, chain analytics and applicable travel-rule controls are approved.
Safeguarding and deposit protection
No claim of deposit insurance, safeguarding, redemption or capital protection may be made until the exact product and regulated provider have confirmed it in binding terms. A technology account screen is not proof of a protected deposit.
Activation evidence
Production activation requires legal opinions per target jurisdiction, provider contracts, register verification, product governance, customer terms, fees, risk disclosures, complaint/ADR routes, wind-down arrangements and operational test evidence.
